In 2006 Ian got involved with school first aid. The passion for the medical industry grew and he completed his Basic Life Support paramedic course in the beginning of 2009. He now has his Intermediate Life Support qualification
Ian is a full-time IT project manager and network engineer. He also spends his weekends volunteering as a Lifeguard at a number of Cape Town's beaches.
